Ouch! Amazing Race Contestant Gets Smacked in Face with Watermelon

That had to hurt.

Home-shopping hosts Brook and Claire had a nasty run-in with a watermelon during one of the challenges on season 17 of The Amazing Race.

In a clip from the show that was posted to Twitter, the racers are using a catapult to launch watermelons in hopes of hitting an armored knight. But their effort backfires -- literally.



The Amazing Race returns to CBS on Sept. 26, and will cover 32,000 miles through 30 cities on four continents. –Aaron Parsley
