Do the Jersey Shore Fights Go Too Far?

Do the Jersey Shore Fights Go Too Far?

09/03/2010 AT 01:00 AM EDT

Well, that didn't last long.

After a short-lived peace treaty in the Jersey Shore house (save for Angelina slapping Pauly) the fighting has returned to Miami.

Last night's perfectly funny episode – with Snooki as a promiscuous Goldilocks testing her three roommates' beds to see which one was most comfortable – came to a violent close with Sammi andJ WOWW's ongoing dispute coming to blows.

MTV's rules about physical confrontations are inconsistent to say the least.

On shows in the Real World franchise, if one player hits another, they're immediately sent home. Here, it's practically encouraged.

Which brings us to this week's question: While there's plenty of drama to go around without any physical violence, there doesn't seem to be an end in sight (remember how much buzz the Snooki punch generated last season?) What do you think about the violence on the show? – Rennie Dyball
