For two years, Danielle Staub
has been at the center of the drama
on Real Housewives of New Jersey.
But now, PEOPLE has learned, the Bravo reality star is likely leaving the show after the end of season 2 and is not expected to participate in a third season.
In a statement posted on her Twitter page, Staub, 48, acknowledges rumors of her departure, but declines to offer any details about her plans – including rumors she'll star in a solo spin-off show.
"I'm not even thinking about season 3 right now," Staub says. "I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me. Right now I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows."
