Gabourey Sidibe's Mom Blows away the Judges on America's Got Talent

Looks like talent runs in the family for Oscar-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe!

Sidibe's mother, Alice Tan Ridley, wowed the judges on America's Got Talent Tuesday night when she belted Etta James' "At Last." And the celebrity panel was a bit different from her usual audience … - the veteran subway performer is usually singing for New York City commuters.

Ridley's spine-tingling performance earned a smile from Howie Mandel and a major compliment from Piers Morgan, who told her it was the "best audition of the day."

The singing powerhouse actually auditioned for the show in May. But what did she think of her audition? "I was pleased with my performance, and I think I did well, actually," she told RadarOnline at the time. –Alison Schwartz
