The determination finally paid off for Krista White, 25 -- who previously auditioned for America's Next Top Model 12 consecutive cycles in a row -- as she was named cycle 14's winner on Wednesday's episode. The Palm Bluff, Ark., native went stiletto-to-stiletto with finalist Raina Hein, 22, in an Anna Sui fashion show in New Zealand before sweeping the title.

"I feel, just overwhelmed, I can't believe it's just me," White exclaimed on the show. "Twelve cycles trying out and it's me! I just wanna pinch myself or something. No one ever thought it would be me."

White -- who had the best photograph three weeks in a row prior to the finale -- was known for her unique contortions of her body while exuding high fashion poses in each of her photographs, one that even made Vogue editor-at-large and ANTM judge Andre Leon Talley choke up. "I'm very emotional. I think it's exceptional work," he said of one of her photographs from an "ugly-pretty" photo shoot featured on the show. "If you went to a go-see for John Galliano, you would be booked. You have no idea how beautiful it is to me."

As the winner, White will receive a $100,000 contract with Cover Girl, a cover and spread in Seventeen magazine and a contract with Wilhelmina models.

"You learned and you listened and you blossomed," Banks said. "There's an honesty and a rawness that is so beautiful. And we think that you can have an international career." --David Yi
