With that cheerful attitude, photogenic visage and insightful world view, Springfield's own bartender Moe Syzslak would seem the perfect replacement for Simon Cowell on American Idol, right?
Well, Moe will get his chance on The Simpsons' season finale -- cleverly titled "Judge Me Tender" -- airing May 23.
In the episode, Moe's ability to separate the wheat from the chaff gets him an invitation to join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Ellen DeGeneres, Kara DioGuardi and Ryan Seacrest on the American Idol stage. --Cynthia Wang
