Bethenny Frankel Admits: I Have ‘Bridezilla Moments’

She's expecting a baby in June, starring in a new season of The Real Housewives of New York City and shooting her new reality show, Bethenny's Getting Married. So, is Bethenny Frankel completely exhausted?

"It’s great,” the pregnant star told reporters of her packed schedule at the premiere for Discovery Channel’s Life Thursday night. While the show will chronicle Frankel’s journey to the altar with fiancé Jason Hoppy, she remains coy on the exact wedding day. "It's soon, but not as soon" as her June due date, she says.

Just don’t expect her to be the average bride.

“I don’t care about stuff -… the dresses and all that. It’s not me,” she says."I’m not the shopper, and everyone knows that I don’t like to transact. I don’t like the stores and registering and all that stuff. So I’ve been sort of doing it, but I don’t love that. It’s funny to be like, ‘Ugh, honey, who cares about a creamer!’ We had a fictitious dinner party in our head as were registering and I’m like, ‘Are we serving them creamer? Can’t they leave?’”

Still, Frankel admits to occasionally losing her cool.

“I find that just looking at dresses, I have Bridezilla moments," she says. "You feel like an 8-year-old, trying on things and getting stuck in a dress, and I’m like, ‘Get me the hell out of here!’”

As for the third season of Real Housewives, which premiered Thursday night, Frankel has one word to describe it: “Psychotic.” “It’s the most volatile season by far, more than all the other seasons," she says."They didn’t have time to fit all the arguments in, honestly.”

And while she may once posed nude for PETA, don’t expect her to follow costar Kelly Bensimon’s steps onto the cover of Playboy.

“PETA, that was great,” she says. “Maybe I’d take pictures with my baby but Playboy, that’s not where I am.I’m 39, it’s like ‘Enough already.’ Playboy would be a terrible decision for me.It has nothing to do with what I’m doing or the brand I’m building.” --Shruti Dhalwala
