FIRST LISTEN: Bucky Covington’s Love Song for Dad

Country singer and American Idol alum Bucky Covington unveils his new single, "A Father’s Love (The Only Way He Knew How)," on PEOPLE.com. The song is a cut on his upcoming sophomore album I'm Alright, due out this fall.

"When I first heard the song, it just hit me in my soft spot," Covington says of the tune, written by Liz Hengber, Thom Shepherd, Steve Williams. It also hit home, he says. "When I was young my parents got a divorce so I had two sets of parents. Neither dad was real huggy but it was understood that they loved us."-- Eileen Finan
