While Lynne had a date with her daughter at the plastic surgeon's office, tension was building among the other women ahead of Vicki's planned ladies-only trip to Florida. Among other things, Tamra's husband Simon insisted on coming along. Alexis also planned on bringing her husband because, she explained, avoiding temptation is the Christian thing to do.
LYNNE: The youth-obsessed Housewife finally got her facelift, browlift and necklift, which she said was "like getting your teeth whitened." Her husband Frank was more nervous about the procedure, but supportive. "I'm happy for her that she's getting this done. It means something to her," he said. "I would never have asked her to do anything like this. I don't think she needs it." Their daughter Raquel got rhinoplasty on the same day -- and the mother-daughter duo looked forward recovering together.
VICKI: She's definitely making progress on her plan to be nicer to her husband Donn! Instead of splurging on jewelry for herself, Vicki went shopping for a diamond ring for him to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary. "For Donn to have any type of bling, he's going to be really thrilled," she said. Vicki also planned a girls-only trip to Florida, but two husbands of the Housewives -- Tamra's husband Simon and Alexis's husband Jim -- insisted on coming along. Get ready for a showdown!
ALEXIS: She realized that toddlers won't sit still long enough to get their nails done when she took her twin daughters, who were not quite 2-years-old, to get their first mani-pedis. Later, she invited Gretchen to a liquid lunch to discuss the Florida trip. "When you allow the devil into your life -- because we're Christian and that's what we refer to temptation as, the devil -- then that's when things happen," she said, explaining why her husband would be tagging along on the ladies' weekend. "We don't want to be in situations that cause temptation." Gretchen found hypocrisy in the statement considering her friend's low-cut dress.
GRETCHEN: She also accepted an invitation from Tamra to clear the air over drinks before the trip to Florida -- only it didn't go so well. Instead of apologizing, Tamra asked Gretchen to take down a blog post she'd written about her. "You keep your friends close and your enemies closer," Tamra said, "and that's exactly what I'm doing with Gretchen." Gretchen's response? "If she's going to give me the ultimatum that we're not going to be friends unless you take your blog down, then I don't need to be friends."
TAMRA: Despite their financial troubles, Tamra's husband Simon didn't seem happy about her new real estate job. "I don't want you taking away from raising the kids," he said, "That's important to me." He's also made his expectations clear about going to Florida and how to deal with her son Ryan, who opted to go to jail for five days rather than do community service. "You're the only person that can change him," he said. "You've got to give him some tough love."
