Racing around the globe in tight camouflage T-shirts, Nick and Starr took home the $1 million prize on Sunday's finale of The Amazing Race.
Poor runners up Ken and Tina, who finished within minutes of the winners, were forced instead to revel in the glorious, though somewhat muted, joy of Ken's renewal of their wedding vows to Tina. She tearfully accepted Ken's ring and the separated couple decided to give it another go. "Let's do it right this time," Ken said, before moving in for the kiss.
Meanwhile, Nick and Starr hugged each other and celebrated their victory. As Ken said, the 20-something brother and sister team moved so quickly they had a "horseshoe stuck in their rear end." Nick's unswerving intensity, Starr's quick pace and focus, and their enthusiasm for the race created an unsinkable combination that made them early favorites and deserving champs. -- Nicholas White
