It was the dreaded elimination night on Dancing with the Stars, but the spirited Cloris Leachman kept the laughs going even after she and partner Corky Ballas were voted off Tuesday's results show.

Right up til the end, the 82-year-old Oscar winner and Ballas playfully hugged each other and mugged for the cameras as they stood in the bottom two alongside Susan Lucci and her partner Tony Dovolani.

Leachman received a standing ovation from the audience and the judges as she came down the stairs to take her final bow. She then made her way to the judges' table, where she addressed each judge individually (telling Carrie Ann Inaba, "I know you didn't mean it," referring to Inaba's remark Monday that the show lost a good dancer like Toni Braxton while Leachman continued on) and in turn, graciously received a kiss on the hand from each of the judges.

As if sensing things were taking a turn for the serious, Leachman decided to conduct her exit interview with hosts Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris sitting on the dancefloor. When Harris asked, "Did you get out of it what you hoped?" Leachman smiled and responded, "You know, I'm not leaving," as the audience erupted in laughter.

"I'm going to get a pretty costume and be here next week. I'm going to sit right over there," Leachman continued as she pointed to an area of the audience. The actress then stood (after getting a hand from Ballas upon announcing, "I can't get up now") and waved to the audience, saying "thank you, everybody."
