When it comes to Grey's Anatomy, Jeffrey Dean Morgan's deceased character Denny Duquette is getting a second life -- well, sort of.
According to a report on EW.com, the actor will return to Grey's for the second time this season in a Nov. 6 episode, reprising his role as Denny, the deceased former patient of Izzie (Katherine Heigl). Morgan appeared in the show's Sept. 25 season premiere.
But what will precipitate the character's return? ABC would not comment, though many have speculated that Heigl's character may be suffering from a brain tumor which causes her to commune with the dead. (The EW.com report hints this plot point may be accurate.)
In July, Morgan spoke to PEOPLE about possibly returning to the show, though he never officially confirmed that he would reprise his role. "Who knows what's going to happen?," he said at the time. --Brian Orloff
