• Crime does pay--at least for Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay, who is named the highest-paid actress in a primetime drama, earning $400,000 per episode, according to TV Guide. But the guy who's laughing all the way to the bank? Charlie Sheen, who brings in a whopping $825,000 per episode for Two and a Half Men.

•Some actors are really good sports: Former ABC Sports Night stars Josh Charles and Teri Polo are reuniting for an episode of Law & Order: SVU. Dun-dun! Something bad will happen to the pair, who play a married couple in an episode airing Sept. 30.

•Ugly Betty has a love affair with Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos. Days after confirming that Consuelos will guest star in the third episode of the relocated New York-set season, word has it that Kelly and her "TV hubby" Reege will be appear as themselves on the Sept. 25 premiere. How do you like them Big Apples?
