TV Roundup: It’s Not Easy Being Paris Hilton

• Apparently The Simple Life is not so simple, so says the reality show's former star Paris Hilton. According to a pal, Hilton may be shopping around a new show that would enlighten the public and teach them that celebrity life only looks simple. Bravo and Lifetime were initially contacted about the concept, and the consensus was: “That’s hot!”

• Rest easy, boys and girls: Tila Tequila still has a Shot at Love. MTV reps have denied rumors that Ashley Dupré, the call girl involved in the political sex scandal with former N.Y. Gov. Eliot Spitzer, is in talks with the network to develop a reality show that would focus on her dating life.

• It's gonna be a tough football season for the Dillon Panthers. Two key characters from Friday Night Lights, Gaius Charles (Smash Williams) and Scott Porter (Jason Street), have been taken off contract and will only appear on a recurring basis during the show's third season.
