Teri Hatcher may be getting desperate ... for some recognition! The Desperate Housewives star was the only one of the four leading ladies of Wisteria Lane to not make it as a top 10 semifinalist in the Emmys race for best comedy actress. At least she's got a singing career!

• The newest installment of ABC's The Bachelorette is now a ratings winner. Despite a slow start, the show began gaining viewers when DeAnna Pappas dumped the guy that she seemingly liked best, an ex-European league basketball player named Graham. This week, ratings hit over 7.5 million. What's next, Tyra Banks picks a Top Model winner without any modeling potential?

• Buzz over an Arrested Development movie may be premature. Despite Jeffrey Tambor's admission to Entertainment Weekly that the project is on track, no deal or script is in place yet. You can stop doing the celebratory chicken dance now.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer are all on board with a big screen adaptation of Friends, according to reports. The annoying Janice, however, is holding out for more money. Ron Tom/ABC
