• The Bluths may be heading to a theater near you. Jason Batemen says that a movie version of FOX's sitcom Arrested Development is on track for 2009. Mr. Banana Grabber has yet to say whether he’ll make an appearance.
• Tyra Banks took time out from shooting the latest cycle of America's Next Top Model to write a message to her fans about her recent Daytime Emmy victory. The talk show host graciously includes a clip of her acceptance speech for those who want to relive her moment of glory or learn numerous ways of describing one's "ass."
• The Office executive producer Ricky Gervais revealed in a post on his website that star Steve Carell, who plays Michael Scott, has extended his contract for another three years. Who knows what might happen now that Michael has that kind of job security.
