"Heidi has started her own record label with Super Producer RedONE," a source tells PEOPLE. "RedOne will write and produce with Heidi an entire album of 13 songs."

Amongst RedOne's credits are Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie", and "Just Dance" for Lady Gaga, the source says, adding that RedOne has also recently been collaborating on a new album with King of Pop Michael Jackson in Las Vegas. Montag's new album will also feature a cameo by RedOne's business partner, Akon.
In February, Montag's boyfriend and manager, Spencer Pratt, told PEOPLE an album was in the works. "We're financing the album ourselves on a shoestring budget," Pratt said. "It's so organic.
