The Bachelor: Where Are They Now?
As a way of getting viewers excited about the premiere of the 12th season of The Bachelor (March 17), ABC aired an hour-long special to catch up with the show's hunky stars. While some outcomes didn't surprise us -- Trista and Ryan have a new baby and a house in Vail -- a certain conspicuous absence did.
Here's a quick look at where some of the guys have ended up:
Last season's Bachelor Brad Womack, who rejected two women on November's finale, would not grant an interview for the show. "After saying no to two women, Brad has also said no to us," host Chris Harrison said. "Unfortunately, he has decided not to answer the many questions we had for him."
Still-single Aaron Buerge (2002) manages two Trolley's bar and restaurants -- one in his native Missouri, the other in Kansas -- and was named president of local First National Bank. Buerge has had one post-show proposal, he revealed, but it was to be a sperm donor for a woman and her husband.
First Bachelor Alex Michel is also single, working as a New York management consultant.
Andrew Firestone (2003), who famously broke up with Jen Schefft, has dated actress Ivana Bozilovic for the past three years. They are planning a wedding on his family's California Wine Country estate. "We have rebuilt a barn that's over 100 years old," Firestone said. "We're creating this into the place that we will have our wedding reception."
Bachelor Bob Guiney (2003) keeps busy with hosting gigs for ABC Daytime and plays with the Band from TV, which includes Hugh Laurie, Bonnie Somerville, James Denton and Greg Grunberg. Guiney and All My Children actress Rebecca Budig have been married for almost four years. "A lot of times I'll on a plane and somebody will come over and start talking to me and think I'm Matt Leinart or Will Ferrell," Guiney said. --Nicholas WhiteAXELLE/BAUER-GRIFFIN
