Idol Crew to Score at Super Bowl
Can't get enough of the American Idol during the week? Well, you can catch Ryan Seacrest, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson at the Super Bowl on Sunday!
Seacrest, who already has about 100 different jobs, will be the entertainment host of the pre-show and halftime extravaganza. This year, there will actually be a VIP red-celebrity arrival area -- a la the Oscars -- and Seacrest will deliver the play-by-play of all things Hollywood. Meanwhile, Paula is staging a singing comeback. Remember 1988's "Forever Your Girl?" Well, she's keeping her promise by performing her new single, "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow," with Randy during a pre-taped segment airing during the pre-show. And as if that wasn't enough, Jordin Sparks -- winner of season 6 -- kicks off the game by singing the national anthem. You can even catch Carrie Underwood's Pizza Hut commercial during the game!
Sadly, Cowell won't be there -- though someone should have tapped him to give running critiques of the players and cheerleaders performances. Now that would keep the game interesting. --Suzy Byrne
