Lots of fans are still ambivalent about Grey's Anatomy spin-off Private Practice, but there's nothing ambivalent about USA Today critic Robert Bianco's thoughts on the show:

"Private Practice . . . a show that reached such startling levels of stupidity last week, you wonder whether the network should scrap tonight's episode in favor of an hour-long apology," writes Bianco. "A therapist who doesn't realize the co-worker she has chosen for a friends-with-benefits sexual relationship has an incredibly obvious crush on her? A doctor on a house call (yeah, they make house calls) who bumbles his way into a hostage crisis? You'd wager whatever they have planned tonight (9 p.m. ET, ABC) must be an improvement – but as one of the plots involves a house call at a convent, that's not a safe bet to take."

So, all you PP fans, how would you defend your show?

And P.S. … Tonight's subplots involve both Addison and Cooper going out on dates with who aren't Pete and Violet . . . is the show trifling with your loyalty by dragging out the inevitable AddiPete and CooperLet couplings? –Kimberly Potts
