•Garth Brooks has canceled upcoming appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The View to show his support for the writers' strike. Expect a song about it to appear on his next album.

• Nick Lachey, Kelly Rowland, Patti LaBelle and Michael Bolton have joined the lineup of NBC's new reality competition Clash of the Choirs, or should that be Clash of the Male Crooners? The show is set to air Dec 17-20.



•ABC is planning Supermanny, a male version of its hit, Supernanny. K-Fed has asked to star.

•Yes, apparently, we do need more supermodels in the world. Bravo is launching the reality show Make Me a Supermodel in January 2008, but you can go to BravoTV.com now to pick your fave male and female catwalker to appear on the show. Joy!
