Jane Seymour: ‘I Couldn’t Even Sit Up’

Actress Jane Seymour confirms it was a "very bad attack of food poisioning" which forced her to skip the Dancing with the Stars results show Oct. 30.

Seymour, 56, writes on her Myspage page that she was feeling fine and in a "good mood" on her way to the show's final rehearsal. But later, "I got the most terrible stomach pains, stomach cramps . . . , I hated the fact I couldn't be on the show, but I literally couldn't even sit up."



Now recovered, Seymour says she is grateful for fans' "unbelievable, extraordinary support," which kept her and pro-partner Tony Dovolani in the competition despite a lackluster performance Oct. 29. "I was so convinced that I was going to be leaving the show," she said, "that I had my bag packed!"

But that doesn't mean she agrees with the audience's decision to boot Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan. "I am, as everyone was, completely stunned," she writes. "I consider her to be an extraordinary dancer, a really lovely girl." –Bryan Alexander
