Mel B. demands a Sabrina recount, Marie reveals her Barry Manilow connection and more…

Aftershocks: "You know how much I love to talk and I'm at a loss for words," Julianne Hough said moments after Tuesday's live results show. "It just goes to show you that no matter how good you think your favorite is, you still have to vote. Sabrina definitely shouldn't have gone home tonight." Jennie Garth consoled Bryan's mother, who sobbed quietly while watching her daughter do an obligatory round of post-show interviews.

"I am baffled," Maksim Chmerkovskiy said. "I've said it before and I'll say it again: People should vote for DANCERS! This is the most ridiculous elimination night ever. As far as I'm concerned the bar just dropped." Chmerkovskiy's partner, Mel B. was in disbelief, too. "Seriously, I think somebody should do a recount," the Spice Girl said. "This makes no sense." Doctor Dovolani to the Rescue!: Jane Seymour told PEOPLE last week she didn't "need any more drama this season," but the actress missed Tuesday's show due to a bout of food poisoning. This latest event followed the death of Seymour's mother and her Malibu home narrowly escaping the path of the wildfires that swept through Southern California.

Her partner, Tony Dovolani, took the stage solo on Tuesday and rejoiced to himself over not being eliminated. "Both Jane and I were walking around the set today with our heads down. We were beat up by the judges Monday night and we said, 'Okay, let's pack our bags,'" Dovolani said, noting that he "called Jane and yelled into the phone that we were safe. I think that made her feel a heck of a lot better." As for what the offending food was that Seymour consumed, Dovolani said, "I don't know. But I guarantee she won't be eating that again."

A True Fanilow: Singer Barry Manilow graced Tuesday night's show by performing three songs, including an updated version of his '70s classic hit "Mandy". Not only did his presence delight the audience, but it took Marie Osmond back to her youth. She greeted Manilow before the show with a hearty hug and a kiss, calling him "the love of my life." Later Osmond told PEOPLE that they share a special bond. "Barry gave me my first puppy when I was 16. It was a beagle," Osmond said. "What does that say? It says I've been in this business so long, I've worked with practically everybody." –Monica Rizzo
