Rosie’s First TV Appearance Since Leaving The View

When she's not being tracked by cameramen from Bill O'Reilly's The O'Reilly Factor, Rosie O'Donnell is actually making a volunteer return to TV–with a Halloween appearance on The Martha Stewart Show (check local listings for time and channel).
In her first TV appearance since leaving The View last spring, O'Donnell is dressed in an elaborate Queen Elizabeth (not to be confused with Elisabeth, as in Hasselbeck, her former View sparring partner) costume, and joins Stewart in a project that involves creating "candy wrapper decoupage."
"I can hardly walk," O'Donnell says of her costume. "I don’t know how queens do this. And by that, I mean gay men too." O'Donnell and Stewart also chat about an apparent offer Stewart made to have the comedienne join her on the show after her tumultuous run at The View.
"We asked Rosie to join us here, but she wanted too much money," Stewart tells the audience.
Responds O'Donnell: "You could have got me for The View rate."
Stewart: "Who knows, we may revisit it."
O'Donnell: "We’ll revisit it, because frankly, I’m unemployed, Martha Stewart."
Famous arts-and-crafts fan O'Donnell reportedly fielded several offers to host another talk show after leaving The View, but has instead focused on frequent postings to her Rosie.com blog, and to penning her book Celebrity Detox. –Kimberly Potts
