Brothers & Sisters: Surprises and Denials

There were a lot of big surprises and big denials last night on Brothers & Sisters. Kevin confronted Uncle Saul about his sexuality after his ex-boyfriend Scotty (whom Saul disdainfully referred to as a "cater waiter") spotted him at a "gay" cocktail party. Saul denied it, but Kevin still took him to task for not standing up for him when he came out to his family. (We learned for the first time that William Walker was not supportive of his gay son. Really, is there anything good left to say about the cheating, secretive William?) With Justin's pain levels drastically decreasing, Rebecca asked him if he was upping his meds. After a blowout fight, he forced her to count the pills on his dresser. But he never mentioned that secret bottle he keeps hidden. Meanwhile, the Walker women were getting massaged and maniacal, as Nora, Kitty and Sara fled to a spa in Ojai for a girls' getaway. In true Walker fashion, they were kicked out of the "quiet room" at the spa after bickering and chattering nonstop amid the scented candles. The three Walker women soon found respite elsewhere, crashing a wedding reception and nibbling on the free lamb chops. Sarah soon found herself being nibbled on by the groom's single son … even taking him to her room! … but she had a mini-freak out when she couldn't get the key card to work. While her daughters were otherwise entertained, Nora, having just learned about Julia leaving Tommy, secretly drove to the nearby vineyard to comfort Tommy … who was already finding comfort in a bottle of wine and his dedicated secretary Lena. And as Holly pointed out the next morning, Lena was wearing that outfit yesterday ....
