• Look who turned the big 4-0 this weekend: Private Practice star Kate Walsh! The newlywed partied with her former Grey's castmates, including Justin Chambers, Sara Ramirez and Sandra Oh, at a bash held at hot spot Parc. Does this woman ever have a bad day?

•A source on the set of Shark says that James Wood is always cranky. That source was later revealed to be Captain Obvious.



•Patrick Swayze will star in the A&E drama pilot The Beast, about an FBI agent who trains his new partner, Travis Fimmel, in his unorthodox style. Meaning, he's going to do the final dance of the summer his way, cause nobody puts Travis in a corner. •Jimmy Kimmel will fill in for Regis Philbin on Live with Regis and Kelly while the host goes on a week-long vacation starting Oct. 22. He'll fly back and forth daily, since he'll still host Jimmy Kimmel Live in L.A. The next week, he'll co-host The View, become a regular on Saturday Night Live and win American Idol.
