Ben Vereen Dishes on Upcoming Grey’s  Gig

We caught up with Broadway legend Ben Vereen in New York City recently, and he gave us the scoop on his upcoming guest stint on the ABC hit drama Grey's Anatomy. –Kara Warner

You're doing a guest stint on Grey's. What can you tell us about that? I'm playing a patient. I play a burn victim, and it's going to air October 4th. Isn't that exciting?



Which cast members did you work with mostly?Katie Heigl. She's your doctor in the scene? Yes. Who else? Chandra Wilson… who's that doctor they call Dr. McGreevy?

McSteamy?McSteamy!

Is Eric Dane steamy in person? He's a cool cat. I liked him a lot. And my girl from Broadway, Sara Ramirez. They were all very cool.

I heard you might be in talks to appear on Private Practice as well?Yeah, because the only way to get me back (on Grey's Anatomy) to be a regular, I would have to be a continual burn victim, that doesn't really work.
