•Despite so-so reviews–and a heap of controversy–CBS reality show Kid Nation drew in 9 million viewers, helping it win its timeslot on Wednesday. Turns out really do want to see younguns' duke it out Survivor-style in the wild, wild West.

• It was a matter of time before VH1 jumped on the next big reality show: celeb rehab! Called Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, a group of celebs (including ones who've appeared on other VH1 reality shows) get an intervention from the good doctor. No word whether being on too many VH1 shows is considered an addiction. Stephen Colbert is being sued for $65 million by Cenk Uygur, a host on Air America's Young Turks who claims Colbert stole his joke comparing Republicans to Klingons. In an unrelated story, the "Geeks" from Beauty and the Geek have all signed up for a Republican party.

• The complete DVD set of Star Trek: The Next Generation will hit stores October 2. In an unrelated story, the newly Republican "Geeks" from Beauty and the Geek are refusing to work on October 2.
