He hasn't stepped out on the Dancing With the Stars ballroom floor yet, but Rick Fox is already worried about wardrobe malfunctions.
"I'm really disturbed a little bit by the fact that there are no pockets," the former Los Angeles Laker says in this new video ahead of Monday's DWTS season premiere on ABC. "I need to put my hands somewhere. I don't even have a back pocket, so I can't even put my wallet in."
Thankfully, Fox's partner, Cheryl Burke, is an old pro – and she can help put his mind at ease. Along with pointing out that he doesn't need pockets – or a wallet – while dancing, Burke says Fox has a lot going for him as a competitor. "He's got a beautiful smile, which he can use on the dance floor, hopefully," she says. "And you know, his height [Fox is 6'7''] is actually not that bad of a disadvantage, because once he uses his height, he actually is very powerful."
