In the new FOX drama, Wolk, 25, plays second-generation con man Bob Allen, torn between two wives but mostly wed to a grifter's life.

ARE YOU AS SMOOTH WITH WOMEN AS YOUR CHARACTER IS?

I am single, but Bob has borrowed some tricks from me! Every character, you bring a part of yourself, right? There are similarities, the way I interact with people.

WHAT WAY IS THAT?

That's a secret. I've got to hook you in somehow.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN DUPED?

I'm actually a pretty good read of people. I have to say, it's hard to pull one over on me.

YOU SHOOT LONE STAR IN DALLAS. HOW DO YOU STAY COOL?

I don't. No one does. It is hot down here. Everyone looks like they've lost 15 lbs.! You've got to drink a lot of water. If Bob appears edgy, it's because I'm exhausted and dehydrated.
