Whiskey Kitchen's Maple Manhattan

COCKTAIL of the MONTH

THE RECIPE

Makes: 1 serving

Hands-on time: 5 minutes

Total time: 15 minutes

Ice cubes

2 oz. bourbon

1 oz. sweet vermouth

1 tsp. maple syrup

2 dashes Angostura bitters Stemmed maraschino cherry

1. Place cocktail glass in freezer to chill.

2. Fill a mixing glass 2/3 full of ice cubes. Add bourbon and next 3 ingredients; stir well. Strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry.

The hot celeb hangout began serving up their Maple Manhattans in 2009. "Maple syrup and bourbon are flavors that pair really well together," says mixologist Austin Ratliff. "It's a great fall and winter drink."
