Behind the Set
When it came time to create Mad Men's new offices, set decorator Claudette Didul had a few mandates: 1. "It had to be different from the old Sterling Cooper office," she says. 2. Roger Sterling's office had to look like "an Italian hospital," as one character put it. And 3. Don Draper's space needed to be "brighter than his other office."
