To make the competition even harder, the judges double-scored the stars in technique and performance for a combined possible total of 60 points.
Jennifer Grey reclaimed her title as Dancing Queen after falling to the number two spot behind Audrina Patridge last week. The Dirty Dancing star's super sexy Argentine tango with partner Derek Hough had the judges marveling – and dishing out their first 10s of the season.
Bruno Tonioli called their routine "primetime delight," while Carrie Ann Inaba simply gushed: "That was amazing." The duo scored straight nines for their technique, and two 10s and a nine for their performance.
Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy came in second with their sensual rumba, which Len Goodman called "very good." Audrina – who Bruno said danced "like an ice queen" – and partner Tony Dovolani claimed the third spot despite failing to impress the judges with their trick-filled Argentine tango.
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's famous abs made their first appearance on Dancing with the Stars this week, but that didn't help his score. The reality star earned the lowest scores this week – including straight fours for technique.
Kurt Warner also came in at the bottom this week for his rumba with Anna Trebunskaya. The intimate dance was especially challenging for the NFL star, who admitted he has trouble dancing sensuously with a woman other than his wife, Brenda. After getting her seal of approval, he had female audience members cheering, but the judges were not in a congratulatory mood: Kurt scored straight fives for technique.
Here's what you didn't see:
Derek Hough, Mark Ballas and Kurt Warner couldn't resist coming out from backstage for the pre-show. The competitors joined in a mini dance-off with a few lucky audience members while the house emcee got the crowd pumped. Later, Tony Dovolani joined an 8-year-old girl on stage for a quick twirl during a commercial.
Bristol Palin was surprised to see her parents and little sister in the audience Monday night. "I didn't think they were coming," she told PEOPLE. "They surprised me tonight, and I was thrilled about that."
The stars teased their TV-theme-song routines for next week. Florence Henderson and partner Corky Ballas told PEOPLE they hope to do a Brandy Bunch-influenced dance if they're voted back, while Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer told reporters they'll be dancing to the Charlie's Angels theme song. And Tony Dovolani joked to PEOPLE that his routine with The Hills alum Audrina Patridge would "have something to do with mountains but a little bit smaller."
