The daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith has dropped her first music video for the insanely catchy "Whip My Hair" – and it's a stunning, high-octane production that leaves little doubt that this precocious Hollywood progeny is the real deal.
And she's just 9 years old! Just compare her to Britney Spears, who was already 10 by the time she appeared on Star Search – in a performance that looks charmingly sedate by comparison.
"Whip My Hair" seems destined to become the pre-teen anthem of the year, and perhaps the pre-pre-teen anthem, too. Check out this parody video whipped up for the Sesame Street set – a more age-appropriate production, perhaps, than Katy Perry's Elmo clip.
