"To me, it's an anthem that I'm so proud of," Perry told PEOPLE in July of the track off her Teenage Dream album. "Everybody can be a firework," she added in a Youtube video interview. "It's just all about you igniting the spark inside of you … This song would probably be my favorite song on the record."
Post-honeymoon, Perry will be busy getting back to work. On Nov. 10, the newlywed will be in New York City to tape a performance at the Victoria's Secret fashion show. She's also singing live on Nov. 21 at the American Music Awards, where she's nominated for artist of the year along with Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga and Eminem.
"I am definitely taking advantage of my time and working until I am exhausted," the pop star told PEOPLE. "This is my time, and it's so thrilling and exciting."
