"Everyday is something new," she told PEOPLE in Las Vegas recently. "As of now, everything is good for us."
And although the second season of MTV's Jersey Shore showed Ortiz-Magro in some questionable situations with other women, Giancola, his on-again-off-again girlfriend, says Magro is "an all-around good guy."
In fact, she considers him "family." Then again, she feels the same about all of her costars. Despite the fact that Jersey Shore portrayed Giancola often at odds with her roommates, she says any conflicts caught on camera are not as important as their bond.
"At the end if the day we're like a family," she said. "We all come together, so it's like one day you hate each other, but the next day you love each other."
There are certain qualities she likes about all of them, she said, but one thing she likes about the boys of Jersey Shore: They cook.
"I can cook," she said, before taking cooking lessons at Palms Casino Resort's Nove Italiano. "I just never gave it any effort because the boys always wanted to cook, so I just gave it to them and let them do the job."
Jersey Shore's reunion show airs Thursday (10 p.m. ET) on MTV and season 3 premieres Jan. 6.
