The former Guns N' Roses guitarist has called off his split from Perla Ferrar, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.
Slash filed a request for dismissal of the divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court, according to TMZ.
The move comes two months after the rocker, 45, filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and July 15, 2010 as the date of separation.
The couple wed in October 2001 and have two sons, London, 8, and Cash, 6.
Slash (real name: Saul Hudson) had been seeking joint physical and legal custody of the children.
In March 2009, the rocker credited Ferrar and his family for helping him settle down, telling PEOPLE he got "rid of all the real hardcore stuff that I used to live on."
