If you like the great outdoors, mixed with plenty adventure and reality-TV drama, then ABC hopes you'll tune in to the new show Expedition Impossible.

The series, announced Thursday, is executive produced by Survivor's Mark Burnett. Tentatively slated for a summer 2011 premiere, the reality show will feature teams of three competing by racing across deserts, over mountains and through rivers, problem solving as they make their way to the finish line.

"I love high adventure television," Burnett said in a statement, adding that the show will bring "an epic Indiana Jones-style experience to the viewers."

Each week teams will compete in one of 10 stages of the expedition, all of which will be in the wilderness. The first team to cross the finish line will claim victory.
