Chilean Miner Finishes N.Y.C. Marathon

His injured left knee bound, Edison Peña triumphantly crossed the finish line of the 26.2-mile N.Y.C. Marathon Sunday afternoon.

Nicknamed "The Runner" for running up to six miles a day though the underground tunnels of the Chilean mine he was trapped in for 69 days, Peña, 34, crossed the finish line in Central Park at 3:30 p.m. after beginning the race at 9:40 a.m. in Staten Island.
