The Disney Channel star, 18, will remain at the treatment facility where she's getting help for "emotional and physical issues," but her family will "be there to celebrate Thanksgiving with her," her rep tells PEOPLE.
Contrary to recent reports that Lovato would be home for Thanksgiving, her rep says, "she remains committed first and foremost to her treatment. Demi has made tremendous progress to date, but understands that she has more work to do."
