Three honeymoons down – and one to go!
Polygamist Kody Brown, star of the TLC reality show Sister Wives, recently embarked on a honeymoon – his fourth – with new wife Robyn. The newlyweds, who tied the knot on the season finale of the show, headed to sunny San Diego to celebrate their union and brought along a camera crew to film scenes for an upcoming TV special.
Meanwhile, his first three wives – Meri, Janelle and Christine – took the family's children on a camping trip.
In an exclusive vide clip of the special, which airs Sunday (10 p.m. ET) on TLC, Robyn, 31, tells the reality-show cameras that she made sure Kody, 42, called his other wives while they were away.
"Kody said, 'Actually, I'm gonna probably take a couple days before I even contact them.' I says, 'No, I think you should contact them right away," she explains. "When you are in this situation ... your emotions get the better of you and you start creating this crazy thing in your head and if he can contact them and say, 'Hey, I love her; I'm on a honeymoon with her but I still love you and I still connect with you and I'm still thinking about you,' it helps them to feel more secure."
While Robyn is looking out for her sister wives' feelings, Meri and Janelle appreciate the frequent phone calls but aren't convinced it's Robyn's doing.
"I don't think it's all Robyn," Janelle, 41, says.
"Kody is growing himself and is improving himself and it's not all Robyn," Meri, 39, says in agreement. "It's just not."
