Michael Douglas Fighting 'Long Road Back' From Cancer Treatment

Nearly eight weeks after completing his grueling treatment for throat cancer, Michael Douglas is determined to move forward.

"It's a long road back," Douglas, 66, tells PEOPLE exclusively of his vow to fight the disease.

Douglas spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Orlando visiting Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando with wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, 41, and kids, Dylan, 10, and Carys, 7. A source close to the couple says of Douglas's cancer battle: "These things can either tear families apart or make them stronger. This has definitely made them even stronger."
