Timberlake, who stars in the current hit The Social Network, suffered an injury to his calf muscle while filming his upcoming sci-fi thriller, Now this week.
A Fox rep tells PEOPLE that production for the film, which also stars Amanda Seyfried, has taken a brief hiatus for the actor to recover but will resume shortly.
Still, don't expect the snafu to keep Timberlake down. He will be back to work at a press junket promoting his animated film Yogi Bear on Saturday.
