Now, her alleged love interest, Australian cricket player Shane Warne – photographed by a U.K. paper in "steamy" clinches with Hurley at a London hotel – has spoken out.
"Sadly and unfortunately, Simone and I split up a while ago, our close friends and family were informed at that time," Warne, 41, writes on his blog, under the heading of "Clarification." "It is a private matter so we did not make it public. We remain friends and will continue to be good parents."
The British tabloid News of the World published pictures and video of the cricketer and Hurley kissing, and says that they spent a night together last week at London's Bentley Hotel.
Hurley, 45, married Nayar in 2007 at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, where they exchanged vows in an Anglican ceremony before 300 guests. She has an 8-year-old son, Damian, with her ex-companion, Stephen Bing.
Hurley Tweeted over the weekend that she and Nayar had "separated a few months ago."
