In court papers, Walsh, 47, who plays Dr. Sean McNamara on the FX series, cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking joint legal and physical custody of the couple's daughter Stella, 7.
He is also offering to pay spousal support to Going, also 47.
Walsh was previously married to actress Melora Walters for seven years.
