The Las Vegas showgirl who mysteriously disappeared had been abused by her ex-boyfriend, police say.

Jason "Blu" Griffith was arrested Oct. 22 for instigation of domestic violence against dancer Debbie Flores-Narvaez, ABC News reports.

Flores-Narvaez, 31, who performed in the Luxor's Fantasy show, disappeared Dec. 12 after she was reportedly headed to Griffith's house. Eleven days earlier, she had sent an ominous message to her mother saying to contact Griffith if "there is ever an emergency with me."

Griffith is now cooperating in the missing person's case and is not considered a suspect, police tell ABC.

On Tuesday, he is scheduled to appear in Justice Court on a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence-related battery and a felony charge of coercion, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer Jay Rivera tells the network.
