She's a Singer – and Writes Songs with Dr. Phil's Son
Though Harris, 24, can be seen on about a dozen episodes of E!'s The Girls Next Door, she's more than a reality star. She's also a singer with a record deal, having signed a contract with Organica Music Group. One of her song-writing partners? Jordan McGraw, vice president of A&R at Organica – and son of talk show psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw. Her debut is set to be a dance single, according to her Web site CrystalHarris.com
She Could Be the Next Dr. Phil
Not only does Harris have television experience, but she has studied psychology, first at San Diego Mesa College and later at San Diego State University. Harris's Web site says her studies are ongoing.
She Has the Blessing of at Least One of Hef's Exes
Hefner's ex-girlfriend, Kendra Wilkinson, graciously Tweeted her well wishes to the next Mrs. Hefner after the engagement was announced, writing, "congrats on the big news @HughHefner and @CrystalHarris! so happy for you!" Harris responded, "Thank you Kendra!"
A Relation of Prince William's?
Okay, that might be a stretch, but Harris – Playboy's Playmate of the Month for December 2009 – does boast British lineage. Though she was born to English parents in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, she writes on her site that her family settled in "England for the early parts of my life and eventually they made the big move back across the pond to San Diego, California where I grew up."
She's an Entrepreneur
She's introducing a new self-titled cosmetics line. Crystal Harris Cosmetics is due to launch in January.
