Ryan Seacrest: 'I'm Not Engaged' to Julianne Hough

From Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth to Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied to LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, it's been a colossal week of celebrity engagements.

Now Ryan Seacrest has an announcement of his own: He is not joining the ranks of the newly engaged.

"I'm not engaged," Seacrest, who is dating dancer-singer Julianne Hough, said on Good Morning America Thursday. But he made sure to add, "I'm very happy."

Hough has gushed about her romance with Seacrest, calling him a "phenomenal" boyfriend and saying he's "really romantic."

The American Idol emcee, who will again host ABC's Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest Friday night, did dish on the dynamic between Idol's new judges.

"The chemistry is fantastic," he said. "I had them over for dinner the night before … the first tape day, and we all just hit it off. There's a lot of camaraderie. Steven [Tyler] and Jennifer [Lopez] are artists … [and] who doesn't love Randy Jackson? He's huggable."
