• Days before releasing her new single "Hold It Against Me," an "excited" Britney Spears went shopping at Frederick's of Hollywood with her assistant and bodyguard. The pop star browsed around the lingerie store and picked out a Valentine's Day-themed piece and bodysuit.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale treated their boys Zuma and Kingston to some frozen yogurt at Menchie's in Sherman Oaks, Calif. They tried to blend in with the other customers and clearly wanted to just have fun as a family, a source says of the four, who were all smiling and "just seemed to have a really good time together," the source adds.

Newly single Scarlett Johansson was calm and confident during her night out at West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont. The Golden Globes presenter grabbed a quick bite on the patio with a male friend, and the two shared bottled water and munched on dinner. Then they paid quick social calls to other stars lounging at the famed hotel, including Matthew Perry and Zoe Saldana, whom Johansson hugged goodbye before taking off.

Zac Efron let Kathy Griffin run her fingers through his newly cropped hair at a pre-Golden Globes bash at Cecconi's in West Hollywood. The comedian tried to convince Efron to Tweet more at the bash, which was hosted by Audi and designer J. Mendel. Also there: Glee stars Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison, who had just come from an L.A. Lakers game.
