When Vienna Girardi and The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka's engagement crumbled last year, the show's winner, 24, pointed a finger at her former fiancé's desire for fame. But that hasn't stopped Girardi from looking for love – or from considering the possibility of trying to find it on reality TV.

"If they talk to me, maybe we'll talk," Girardi told PEOPLE of her interest in becoming the next star of The Bachelorette. "I really, truly did want to find love and get married, and I still want that."

But when asked if she'd consider looking for romance on a second season of Bachelor Pad, the former marketing rep concedes she'd prefer something more serious: "I've had so much fun already," she says.

For now, Girardi is casually dating – "I'm talking here, talking there," she says – but insists she's currently single.

"We're going to clear this up: Vienna has no boyfriend," she said at the Bachelor Red Cross Blood Drive. "I'm single."

Although Girardi hopes to settle in her native Florida, she currently lives in Los Angeles, where she says the dating scene is a disaster. "I feel like it's kind of hard in L.A.," she says. "Someone should write a book about dating in L.A. – not possible!"

One requirement for the reality TV alum while she calls the West Coast home: "I'd have to date someone from another state."
